Advice for expecting parents:
Learn as much as you can about breastfeeding. It is one of the most important decisions you will make about your child's health, and it is well worth the effort -- and so rewarding!
Advice for new parents:
There is a time for everything, and this is the time to focus in on your family. Let some of those pre-baby commitments go. This time is fleeting and precious. Your life is different now, in a new and wonderful way -- seize it!
Advice for parents of teenager:
Designate one night each week as "family night," and spend it cooking dinner together, playing games, watching movies, and just talking. It's okay for friends to join too, just be sure that all of your own family members are there, and enjoy one another.
Most important thing you’ve learned by being a parent yourself:
Children learn what they live. Treat your child with love, respect, gentle hands, and joy, and your child will grow to be loving, respectful, gentle, and joyful.
